Volleyball

Extramurals is a league for 7th and 8th grade students to compete against other Brookline elementary schools.

All students interested in being part of the Lawrence School team are encouraged to try out. No prior volleyball experience is required. The goal is to provide an opportunity for students to be active, be part of a team, and learn the basic skills, rules, and strategies of volleyball.

Dates: Mid-September to mid-November

Practices/Games: Games are held on Wednesdays. Practice days will be determined by the coach.

Team Size: 16 students (two tryouts will be held prior to the season to determine the team)

Expectations: Students interested in competing and representing Lawrence School must abide by and sign the Lawrence Athletics Contract.

Registration: Students must register online at FamilyID and submit a current physical prior to tryouts.

Concussion Course: All coaches, coordinators, players, and parents must complete the online concussion course. The course is free and takes approximately 30 minutes. Take the course.

Cost: $85. Scholarships are available.

Schedule: A detailed practice and game schedule will be provided by the coach.
